Everything You Need to Know Before Your Stay at Bowen Motel.
What time is check-in?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. If you need an earlier check-in, please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Can I check in early or check out late?
We’ll do our best to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests when availability allows, but they cannot be guaranteed. We’re happy to store your luggage while you explore Moab.
What hours is the front office open?
Our front office is open until 10:00 PM. If you’ll be arriving after 10:00 PM, please contact us in advance. Guests are required to present a photo ID and credit card at check-in.
What is the minimum age to check in?
Guests must be at least 21 years old to check in at Bowen Motel.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations must be canceled or modified at least 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid a charge equal to the first night’s room rate plus tax. Reservations made through a third party, such as Expedia or Booking.com, are subject to the cancellation policy shown on the original booking confirmation.
Can I pay with cash at check-in?
No. A valid credit card is required at check-in, and we do not accept cash.
Can someone else check in using my credit card?
The credit card must be in the name of the guest checking in unless a credit card authorization form has been completed in advance.
Can I bring my dog or other pets?
Bowen Motel does not offer pet-friendly rooms.
Do you have a pool?
Yes. Bowen Motel has an outdoor heated pool, open seasonally from April through October. Pool hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The pool is closed November through March.
Do you have guest laundry?
Yes. We have two complimentary guest laundry rooms available for our guests.
Do you have amenities for cyclists and outdoor adventurers?
Yes. We offer a bike wash station, filtered water filling station and a place to keep ice packs frozen and ready for your next adventure.
Is there an on-site restaurant?
No, but Bowen Motel is located in the heart of downtown Moab within walking distance of many restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Is Bowen Motel within walking distance of downtown Moab?
Yes. We’re located directly on Main Street in downtown Moab, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, bars and other local favorites.
I’m traveling with a trailer. Do you have parking available?
Trailer parking is not available in the main parking area. Designated trailer parking is available at the rear of the property and can accommodate trailers up to 40 feet in total length.
What types of rooms do you offer?
We offer Single Queen, Double Queen, Deluxe King and Family Rooms, along with our three-bedroom, two-bath Bowen Apartment on Main.
Does Bowen Apartment on Main have a kitchen and laundry?
Yes. Bowen Apartment on Main includes a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a private patio.
